Alto Packaging is a large rigid plastic manufacturer in New Zealand and Australia. We are part of Pact Group, a well-established public company. A long standing supplier to the New Zealand and Australian Agricultural & Chemical Industry, Alto has over 60 years proven experience supplying major chemical and agricultural processors.

Alto traces its proud origin back over 60 years when it started making plastic products in Hamilton, New Zealand. From humble beginnings all those years ago, Alto has grown to nine manufacturing plants in New Zealand, and four in Australia.

Our primary processes include Injection Molding and Blow Molding with associated finishing options (logo embossing, UN approvals and barrier protection) and we are an approved key supplier to major ag-chem customers including Ecolab, Argenta and DOW.

Pact Group – Scale & Diversity

Alto is part of the Pact Group which is listed on the ASX. Pact Group is the major supplier of rigid plastic in Australia and New Zealand and supplies many different plastic and steel products throughout NZ, Australia and South East Asia.

With many large ag-chem and food processor customers, Pact Group has grown to 64 manufacturing sites in New Zealand, Australia and Asia. Alto benefits from being part of such a large group with sharing of technology, product innovation, procurement and manufacturing know-how.
